Your First Alternaleaf Appointment
Wondering what to expect during your first appointment with us? Below, we’ve listed a few things to keep in mind, and hopefully they’ll make you feel a little more ready to start your medical cannabis journey.
What is the appointment about?
This first appointment is your chance to be open and honest about your condition, symptoms and needs. Remember, we're here to listen to you. It's also a great opportunity to ask any questions you have. If you’ve submitted all the necessary medical documents, the clinician will book your next appointment, a Doctor consultation, where you'll discuss and be issued your prescription.
How do I join my appointment?
All our appointments are online video calls. You need to click the link that’s right at the start of the confirmation we send after you book. Try and do this at least 5 minutes early. And remember, it’s an online video appointment, not a phone call.
Do I need anything?
All you’ll need is your ID, so we can verify this against the copy you need to upload after booking. We ask that you try and do this at least 48 hours before your appointment. Having it ready will save time during the online video call.
How much does medication cost?
Medication costs vary between each individual. Our best piece of advice is to just mention if you’re on a budget during your first couple of online video appointments, and we’ll try and accommodate that as best we can.
